Doomsday
Scenerios:
1.
Asteroid Collision - this
is the prevailing theory behind the
extinction of the dinosaurs, along with other mass extinctions in
Earth's history. It has also be theorized that an asteroid
collision wiped out the stone age Clovis people of North America, along
with the beasts they hunted some 13,000 years ago. It is just a
matter of time before the Earth is hit again.
2.
Geological Events -
Supervolcanoes are a recent discovery, and an
eruption will cause long-lasting climate changes, including the
possibility of an ice age. The most recent supervolcano eruption
occurred 26,000 years ago in New Zealand. Yellowstone sits on top
of another supervolcano, and the Yellowstone caldera floor has been
moving upward almost three inches per year for the past three years,
indicating an increase in the magma chamber pressure.
3.
Solar Activity - Solar
activity fluctuates over time. Sunspots
are few during a solar minimum, but many occur during a solar maximum,
spewing out waves of radiation and charged particles. Our next
solar maximum will occur around 2012. NASA is predicting the next
sunspot cycle to be 30% to 50% stronger than the previous one.
This will adversely influence cell phones, GPS systems, weather
satellites, and possibly even our power grids.
4.
Black Hole Collision - Much
worse than an Asteroid Collision, a black hole could take out our sun
along with all the planets in our solar system.
5.
Magnetic Polar Shift - The
North and South poles of the Earth will shift, resulting in worldwide
destruction.
6.
Polar Axis Shift - The
axis of rotation of our plant will change, resulting is severe climate
changes, with areas formerly equatorial becoming temperate, etc.
7.
Global Pandemic -
overprescription of Antibiotics have created new
"superbugs" that are resistant to all known treatments. From AIDS
to Bird Flu, bacterial and viral threats abound.
8.
Human Experimentation - The
Large Hadron Collider goes online later this year. Experiments
with this device could create microscopic black holes or other types of
unstable matter, causing a chain reaction that results in our own
destruction.
Enlightenment
Scenerios:
1. As the Earth and Sun line up with the center of the galaxy during
the winter solstice in 2012, a dawning of a new age will take
place. Earth's inhabitants will undergo a spiritual
transformation.
2. Aliens will arrive, bringing with them knowledge beyond our
imagination.
3. The Mayan Calendar has nothing to do with the planet's orbit, or
cycle timings of our solar system. It is a calendar that tracks
the evolution of consciousness. Since Jan 1999, Humanity has been
developing Galactic consciousness. Starting Feb 2011, Humanity
will start understanding our "Universal Co-creatiion" until we reach
enlightenment on Dec 12, 2012.
