Song: Teenage Lament
In RealAudio 3.0 Format
Its taken two years and two lineups, but
neurotic rock
refugee Beezer Hill (vocals and guitar) has got the Glad Rags
powerpunkbubblegum machine
tuned, roarin’, and ready to roll! The trio (Dave Vegafria on bass,
Peter Marchese
drumming) are playing club dates to spread the gospel about the new CD,
Can't Let Go.
A cannon packed with melodies, hooks, and catchy choruses, propelled by
punk energy, it's
being ravenously slurped up by critics and fans alike, including KROQ's
Rodney
Bingenheimer!
"Its all the stuff I grew up with 60s, 70s, 80s, new stuff, I just takes the bits I like from here and there, add ice, and shake!" says Beez. "Our objective for each show is to blow your mind with pure rock and roll. No flash pots, no funny contact lenses, just three bastards delivering the goods as best we know how. A little eyeliner, maybe…" Recent guest slots include gigs with Menthol, Triplefastaction, Radish, Fastball, and Love Nut; they also had the pleasure of having the Sex Pistols open for them on the Filthy Lucre tour. Well, actually, they played the post-concert set, but it was still pretty cool.
The new CD, Can't Let Go, is out now...send us an email for details on ordering. Also in the works is a track for the upcoming MTV Workout Video
Far from the stodgy, serious crowd, the Glad Rags are looking to put a smile back on your face, escape for a bit, have a good time, you know? Leave your politics at home.
